Section I – OCP Certification

The OPSEC Professionals Society (OPS) established the OPSEC Certified Professional (OCP) certification to support professional development and improvement through the exchange of ideas and information on the methods, practices, and procedures related to OPSEC programs and associated activities. In addition to disseminating information, OPS is interested in further developing and refining principles and techniques common to sound OPSEC practices.

Applicants for certification as an OCP must conform to detailed requirements at:

Part A - Certification Requirements

Part B - Administrative Procedures

OCP Oath

After initial certification, all OCPs must recertify at three year intervals. The recertification is based upon continued good standing in OPS and earning sufficient number of credits for professional activities performed during the three year period. (Cost of recertification is $100.00)
